Truro Christmas Street Markets
We can give advance notice that DME will, once again, be organising the street markets in Truro in the run up to Christmas. We will be holding four late night shopping events (5pm till 9pm trading times) on November 26, December 3rd & 10th & 17th. In addition, we will be running two Saturday Christmas street markets in the City (9am till 5pm trading times) on December 13th & 20th.
The booking forms and further details will be posted on this website by the end of August. Interested traders/producers/exhibitors can register their interest for these events by emailing DME Ltd, we will then notify you when we are ready to take bookings. As always, we welcome bookings from registered charities.
There are a limited number of spaces for mobile commercial food & drink units and these will be offered on a 'by-invitation only' basis.

Datmouth Regatta - Latest availability
We have finished taking bookings from traders that have exhibited at Dartmouth before and the good news is, as our marquee is bigger, we have some spaces left. Contact us if you are interested and we can always ‘discuss’ the amount of deposit needed. The show runs from 28-30 August.
Paula Jones has raised the query about sharing accommodation at Dartmouth. If anyone else is in a similar position give us a call and we’ll put you in touch.

Jewellery Spaces
Due to unprecedented demand, all Jewellery spaces at our 2008 Arts and Crafts, Markets and Fair Events are now SOLD OUT. Traders wishing to be placed on a Reserve List, should email DME Ltd.
Unsafe Electrical Equipment?
We have become concerned recently about the quality/safety of electrical equipment some traders are using. Please check your fuses, connections etc in any equipment that you intend to use.
Carrick Street Trader Licence
Please use the latest CSTL. Important information has been added to the reverse of the form, which includes the fact that under no circumstances will consent be issued on the same day trading is taking place. Please note the price has increased to £6/month for all new applications – old licences (issued before the increase) are still however valid.
All Traders require a valid Carrick Street Trader Licence (latest v1.2) to trade at our Truro Piazza (Lemon Quay) Market events. Please note that this is a Council produced form and not the design or property of DME Ltd or F2 Web Design Ltd.
Falmouth Tall Ships - updated 15 June
Due to a reorganisation of the area we have been allocated for our marquee, it looks like we can extend – so if you have missed out on booking please get in touch and we will put your name on the reserve list. Suitable ‘nautically themed’ fancy dress is required for all traders. To add your name to the reserve list please email DME Ltd
The committee organising the Tall Ships festival have just informed us that there are even more ships booked to come into Falmouth than previously thought. Latest information suggests that there will be 10 of the larger ships and at least 20 from the smaller classes. The committee are planning a firework display to be viewed from Church St Car park (our site) for the Friday evening. They are expecting to top the visitor numbers of 1998 (150,000) as enquires for accommodation within the town are already pouring in.

Adding to our nautical theme this year - We’re delighted to let you know that we have been asked to organise the prestigious ‘Shopping Village’ at Dartmouth Royal Regatta, 28th – 30th Aug. This will be our largest event of the year with space for 110 quality traders. The Regatta is visited by over 100,000 people and even the Red Arrows will be making an appearance. The addition of this event to our programme means that Deborah Martyn Events have the pleasure of organising (along with the Victorian Christmas Fair and Tall Ships) three of the largest events in the region for 2008. The fact that DME is now recognised as the main provider for events of this stature is due, in no small measure, to the quality and standard of our traders and their products.
