2012 Truro Piazza Information

Once again, for 2012, we have at least one high quality market permonth in Truro from March onwards. With great shopping dates such as Easter, mid-August and a number of pre-Christmas events, THE place to be is in the busiest shopping centre in Cornwall. Our high-quality, clear-span branded marquee is erected on Lemon Quay Piazza outside the front doors of Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and HMV and is always popular with the shopping public. For the duration of the event you have, in effect, a shop-front in Truro. Sell your product, raise brand awareness and direct customers to your website without the burden of massive rents, business rates and utility bills associated with shop rental or ownership in this lovely city.

Shopkeepers

In recent years we have noticed the trend of a number of shopkeepers with properties in secondary or tertiary trading positions in the city to take stalls at our events in order to drive increased footfall from our market to their trading premises. This seems to be very successful for them and we therefore welcome and encourage shopkeepers in Truro to apply for positions within our events, either on a regular, or ad-hoc, basis.

Prices

Our Truro prices have remained relatively unchanged for the last four years and, conscious of the difficult global economic climate, we have tried to keep our prices, where possible, as low as possible by absorbing supplier costs ourselves. The cost for each event includes the supply of a 6ft by 2ft sturdy display table, overnight security (so that your stall can be left in place) and access toan electric point for display purposes. However you look at it, if you have a good product orservice to sell, our events are a very cost-effective means of getting it to market and growing your business.

Booking Form

When you click on the date in the box on the booking form you can also book the size of pitch you want; single, space and a half or double. A single space is 6ft frontage by 4ft depth, a space and a half is 9ft frontage by 4ft depth and a double space is 12ft frontage by 4ft depth. Prices for these pitch sizes will be displayed on the form when you click in the appropriate box.

You only have to pay for your first event in advance, along with a rolling deposit to be set against your final event. Getting started with us is therefore low cost and easy. If you require a space larger than a double then please call us to discuss. Many exhibitors are now choosing to take advantage of our on-going special offer and booking a space and half (9ft by 4ft). For just 30% more, you receive a 50% increase in pitch size allowing you to display more products and increasing your sales potential. A discount is given to those exhibitors who book a double pitch (12ft by 4ft). We also accept bookings from registered charities (subject to space availability) and do offer a discount (please call to discuss).

New Trader?

If you haven't booked with us before, we will have to have sight of your product before we can accept your booking. Therefore you will need to send us photos or samples of your product or direct us to you your website to see if it is appropriate to add you to our "Approved Trader" list. An answer can usually be given in 24 hours.

Popular Truro Piazza Events - Book Quickly

As in previous years, we only have space for 39 exhibitors at each of these events and some dates, in particular Easter, October and November do sell out quite rapidly. You are therefore advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
